WHAT IS IT? What is all the fuss about Speed Dating?
Speed dating is basically a dating medium design to encourage people to meet a larger group of new people. It saves time, as you can meet 10-15 new people at a time, and decide very quickly whether you are romantically compatible.
It was even made popular by Miranda from the famous TV series of Sex in the City, and from then on, everyone seems to embrace the idea of attending one. In fact, conventional dating now seems to be the thing in the past, and it is no surprise that speed dating has now become an epidemic worldwide!
So, why not use this chance to Meet Up?
HOW TO SPEED DATE?
Don’t worry if you are a first timer. Just be there on time, as first impression counts!
Upon arrival, you will need to register and be given a personalized numbered-badge.
After all participants have arrived, we will then explain the format and break the ice amongst the participants.
Those with badge no 1 will start at table no 1, and others so on. Basically, you are given a series of short dates to get to know the other person. The process will be as follows:
Step 1: Couple is given 4 minutes to chat and get to know each other
Step 2: At the end of each interval, we will ring the bell to signal the next date (The guy will then move to the next table, while the Lady remain on the same table)
Step 3: At the end of ALL dates, participants will then submit the feedback form (Tick yes, if you are interested with that other person)
Step 4: We will then collate the feedback and trade contact information of both parties if there is a match (We wish to advise you that contact info should not be traded during the initial meeting to reduce the pressure on that person to accept/reject you)
